Van demand rose 11% last week, in the end-of-quarter rush , and truck capacity tightened by 2.9%. Oregon continues to offer substantial load volume and high load-to-truck ratios, especially in the state’s eastern and southern agricultural markets, with demand spilling into northern California.

As you can see in the Hot States Map below, trucks are still in high demand across many parts of the country. The decline in the national average could be short-lived, too, with volumes surging in California and across other western states, and demand is high on eastbound lanes.
