An update on copper

Geographically speaking, copper is produced by “a very narrow supply base,” according to Mining Technology : “65% of documented copper resources in just five countries: Chile, Australia, Peru, Mexico, and the US.” Mining Technology’s Zachary Skidmore lists a broader set of solutions to “alleviate the pressure on the [copper] supply chain.”
