October Flatbed Rates Were Highest of the Year

Volumes were up and down over the course of the month, though, as markets adjusted to constantly changing demand. Houston prices have mostly been neutral, but the lane to Wichita, KS , fell to just $1.77/mile. Out West, Reno to Seattle declined to $1.98/mile. Lots of major flatbed lanes were at or near $3/mile last week.
