E-commerce in Turkey is growing rapidly. The population is young, Internet penetration and use of social media is very high, everyone has at least one credit card and the cargo network is widespread. E-commerce still only accounts for 1 to 1.5 % of retail shopping in Turkey (excluding ticketing, such as airline flights).
