Medical supply shortages are being reported across the U.S. Tariffs were placed on medical supplies from China in 2018 and only lifted in March of this year because of the pandemic. Other countries including South Korea, India, and Taiwan, as well, are blocking exports of medical supplies to save them for their own citizens, leaving the U.S. Burma (Myanmar). Burma, or Myanmar, benefited significantly during this time period with a 60% volume increase.
