Michigan and Illinois had pretty good load volume for vans, but they also had lots of trucks available, so the statewide ratios fell below the national average. Markets with rising rates included Los Angeles, Fresno, Grand Rapids, Rock Island, Philadelphia and Miami. Miami is usually a dead end at this time of year.
