October Flatbed Rates Were Highest of the Year

Houston prices have mostly been neutral, but the lane to Wichita, KS , fell to just $1.77/mile. The biggest declines for the month were on lanes out of Raleigh and Baltimore. The lane from Cleveland to Harrisburg backed off some previous highs, falling to $3.56/mile. Out West, Reno to Seattle declined to $1.98/mile.

Flatbed Rates Set Another Record

Houston rates have been largely neutral for the month, but one lane took a step back last week. Lanes going to Wichita, KS , were down 34¢ to $2.81/mile. The lane from Vegas to Sacramento jumped up to an average of $3.22/mile, mile, but it could be a short term-spike since it’s a relatively low-volume lane.
