And now on to this week’s logistics news. Abbott , the largest infant formula manufacturer in the US, reached an agreement with the Food and Drug Administration on Monday to reopen the company’s manufacturing plant in Michigan to help ease a nationwide shortage of baby formula, after the facility was closed due to bacterial contamination.

And now on to this week’s logistics news. As I mentioned earlier this week, Amazon is continuing its course of supply chain innovation. Now, Amazon is expanding the use of the Rivian electric van to San Francisco, making the Bay Area the second of 16 total cities the company expects to bring its Rivian-sourced EVs to in 2021.
