The company sources goods from 36,000 suppliers out of 30 nations. The goods flow through 3 import centers, 14 strategically located distribution centers in North America, 106 final-mile shipping hubs, and nearly 1,700 branch locations. We also opened one in Toronto and we have one opening up in the next several months in Nashville.

Next year’s conference will be on September 8th-11th in Franklin, TN, south of Nashville, TN. I find senior executives love to throw around superlatives like customer-centric, agile, efficient and responsive but lack the understanding of how the words translate to supply chain strategy in the real world. Consumers have not necessarily put the brakes on buying stuff, and it's just that some consumers are being more mindful of what to purchase thanks to inflation. The adoption of just-in-case inventory strategies by many retailers due to supply chain disruptions also didn't help much.
