In some cases this involved having multiple manufacturers in the same hotel meetings to promote bidding wars, and threatening to “insource” manufacture of components by hiring away a supplier’s engineers.

As an example, Chemical Manufacturing (NAICS 325) encompasses a variety of chemical manufacturing codes including petrochemicals (3251), but none for biobased chemicals.
