From our lens, this trend is mainly an indicator of seasonal holiday related demand and spending for the traditional holiday quarter. Austria was indicated as the worst performer, followed by Germany and France. Similar to October, November’s reporting clearly reinforces this ongoing trend. reflecting a 1.1 reported for October.

The only country with positive PMI growth was Greece , while Germany, France and Austria PMI levels were the lowest, Austria being 43.0 and France being 43.1. in January from 49.7
