Crew changes on ships arriving from countries where there have been “severe” outbreaks of COVID-19, such as South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan, France, Spain, Germany, the US, and the United Kingdom, are forbidden at Chinese ports except under strict quarantine conditions. Italy, with more than 2,100 flights cancelled, has been hit the hardest.
