Still easy to cover for all markets except outbound south Texas and Florida to the northeast as capacity out of these markets is harder to come by. . South Texas is heating up for outbound volume and capacity has tightened in response. This sentiment is a result of increased volume and more limited capacity in the region. .

Those other dark red areas on the Hot States map, in Montana and South Dakota, signal a shortage of trucks without a lot of available loads. A shortage of trucks led to high load-to-truck ratios that turned entire states dark green in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, but there were not a lot of loads available in those areas. Hot Markets for the week included Medford, OR; Rapid City, SD; Omaha, NE; Little Rock, AR; Shreveport, LA; and Montgomery, AL.
