The Sun Belt is hot for vans , as high demand and a shortage of trucks turned the map red across the southern band of states. Vans even got a rate increase in the Northeast last week, as outbound lanes improved in Philadelphia and Buffalo. Outbound rates are moving up in Raleigh, NC, and there’s lots of freight available.

Outbound rates fell in key Northern markets, including Chicago , Denver , and Philadelphia. Jacksonville is also going strong, with big rate increases on the lanes to Miami up 13¢, and to New Orleans , up 40¢ Rates are rocketing up in Raleigh , after a down month. and Stockton.
