Denver to Albuquerque rose 10¢ for an average of 1.76/mile. Out of California , volumes were flat, with higher load counts out of the Fresno area offset by declines farther south. Sacramento to Denver slipped 14¢ to $2.17/mile. The slow and steady trend of more gaining lanes than falling took a step back last week.

One more 9¢ drop: Denver to Albuquerque fell to $1.66/mile. The seasonal shift is now up to the Huron district in the Fresno market, which is expected to move about 650 loads of head lettuce a week. Sacramento to Denver also added 30¢ at an average of $2.32/mile, Houston to OKC dropped 9¢ to $1.80/mile

Other Hot Markets include Albuquerque, Grand Rapids and Little Rock. Outbound rates increased in key California markets, including Sacramento, where rates rose 14¢ last week, to an average of $2.20 with a third leg that originates in Reno, Fresno, or a handful of other hot markets, as well. per mile last week.
