October Flatbed Rates Were Highest of the Year

Las Vegas to Sacramento averaged $3.19/mile. Atlanta rates were down in general, but the lane to Baltimore climbed to $2.95/mile Flatbed rates were down out of a handful of Sunbelt markets: Atlanta, Savannah, Fort Worth, and Phoenix. The biggest declines for the month were on lanes out of Raleigh and Baltimore.

Jacksonville is also going strong, with big rate increases on the lanes to Miami up 13¢, and to New Orleans , up 40¢ Rates are rocketing up in Raleigh , after a down month. Four major lanes out of Raleigh had double-digit increases last week. Reefers Gear Up for Produce Season.
