Walgreens to offer Wing drone delivery in suburban Dallas. The first commercial drone delivery service in a major US metropolitan area launched this week in suburban Dallas, where Google-owned Wing began delivering items from Walgreens and a few other partners. The freight recession is over. Energy exploration and fracking petered out, and the accompanying freight dried up. Freight volume and rates finally began to revive in May 2016, and year-over-year volume comparisons turned positive in August. Granted, some big markets like Atlanta and Dallas remained quiet this December.
