Ironically, in the city of San Francisco which alleges allegiance to Corporate Social Responsibility, I had no option. The flight into San Francisco on American was six hours late arriving at 7:00 AM EST. (I had scheduled the last flight out of Philadelphia on a Sunday night to spend the afternoon with my grandchildren.)

The proliferation of the business models is exciting. It was great to see click and pay on the London tube, and I love some of the new models that are being developed in grocery and specialty stores for purchases on-line and pick-up at the stores. However, do not take your last mile for granted. Redefine it. Make it work.
