On the other hand, flatbed prices trended down in a handful of key markets, including Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Cleveland, Pittsburgh , and Roanoke. Phoenix to El Paso, TX gained 32¢ to $2.08/mi. Flatbed load counts are still strong in Texas , but it was the port cities of Los Angeles and Jacksonville that propelled rates, along with inland markets like Cleveland, Raleigh, and Rock Island, IL. Atlanta to Memphis paid 22¢ better at $1.93/mile.
