West Coast ports can now resume full operation, it will take months for trucks to clear the cargo backlog. At just 44 fleets, it bested the previous low of 70 fleets in 2012. A recent survey by the American Trucking Association (ATA) found wages for private fleet van drivers at $73,000, earning 58% more than the truckload van average.

According to a survey by consulting firm McKinsey, nearly 65% of B2B companies across industry sectors now offer e-commerce capabilities, and this is up from 53% in early 2021.
