To the south, Charlotte rates rose 4%. Denver to Albuquerque added 25¢ at $2.92/mile. It’s hard for trucks to stay on schedule in a snowstorm, and winter weather pushed rates higher in the Northeast last week. Allentown, PA outbound rates got a big 10% increase. Denver to Albuquerque has been more up-and-down than usual, and last week it fell 10¢ for an average of $1.64/mile. mile – that’s a rare thing since it was from one hot market to another… but the fact that the lane from Savannah to Charlotte also jumped up ▲55¢ to $3.48/mile mile bucked that trend.
