Cross-Border Logistics Cross-border logistics has evolved as infrastructure along the Mexico and the US border improved – Most notable rail and road. In 1882, the Mexican Central Railroad reached El Paso, Texas from Mexico City, becoming the first train to cross the border on August 2, 1882, and connecting with two US rail lines.
