Three years ago, the Chartered Association of Business Schools (ABS) has released its last ranking of business journals: the Academic Journal Guide (AJG), also known as the “ABS list” This ABS ranking has become quite influential as the guiding journal ranking across management disciplines in the UK.

The influential Chartered Association of Business Scholars has just published its Academic Journal Guide 2021. I have looked at the ranks for 15 major OSCM journals. Once again, only the following OSCM journals were classified in category 4*: Journal of Operations Management , Management Science and Operations Research.

Therefore, the challenge to establish ranking method is to find more economical data source and unbiased metric. The content is good then people refer to it often (number of citations is also used to measure the importance of journal articles aka Impact Factor). How about its counterpart in Europe?

I have tried to do deep literature searches on the academic supply chain research in the journals. Lora wrote the books Supply Chain Metrics That Matter and Bricks Matter , and is currently working on her third book, Leadership Matters. My struggle is that the field of supply chain is relatively new and the research is very limited.
