The high demand and tight truck load capacity has led to unprecedented numbers of reefer load posts on DAT load boards, North America's largest on-demand freight exchange.

Atlanta is the top market for load posts on DAT Load Boards , and tighter capacity has led to higher rates there. Memphis to Indianapolis added 22¢ to $1.88/mile. Prices fell sharply in Lakeland, FL , and Miami , but there were big gains in Atlanta , Dallas , and near the Mexican border in Nogales, AZ. mile on average.

That's typically a small market for flatbed freight, but a newly expanded steel mill there appears to be generating more freight, and may be benefiting from tariffs on foreign competition.
