By combining leadership and technology, I believed that we had the opportunity to create a better supply chain. The gap is the result of the stewpot of corporate politics, misguided consultants, and over-hyped technologies. Their supply chain results in 2019 are worse than in 2015, and this was before the pandemic. I was wrong.

I have a theory as to why we are seeing some market skepticism, and it hinges on the distinction between Systems of Record versus Systems of Engagement. Supply chain management is a system of record. SORs, not as much.
