As part of its partnership with drone company Wing, the retail giant intends to bring drone deliveries to Houston, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta and Charlotte by June of 2026, and will expand existing services in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. This is real drone delivery at scale,” said Wing CEO Adam Woodworth.

Supply chain shortages have caused prices to rise globally on just about every consumer good imaginable. Trucking, warehousing, and parcel-delivery companies added a combined 32,900 jobs last month, according to seasonally adjusted preliminary employment figures the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, down from 44,700 jobs added in April.
