Last week, I bought a shirt at Bloomingdales on Walnut Street in Philadelphia for 1$. Warehouses are full, and supply chain leaders are using containers as overflow warehouses adding to port snarls. Headline news included Wal-Mart, Target, Kohl’s and Macy’s struggling with inventory bloat and offering deep discounts.
