Lost sales and additional expediting costs hit your bottom line. At one level, end-to-end supply chain success is simple: get the right stuff to the right place at the right time.

That was the perfect lead-in for a great Supply Chain Insights webinar I attended recently – Journey to Supply Chain 2030. Admittedly, 2030 is a few years out. Sometimes it’s difficult to predict what’s going to happen next week let alone 14 or 15 years down the road.

The use of the new technologies, ranging from robotics to value-added services within transportation management systems (TMSs) saw greater implementation across supply chains via TMSaas, and widely-held beliefs about the supply chain’s limitations were tested.
“What should we do about the tariffs?” There’s no straightforward answer — every leader has a different expectation. CFOs want numbers. COOs want action. CEOs want strategy. And supply chain and procurement leaders need to be ready with the right response — fast. That’s why GEP has created a simple three-part framework that will help CPOs and CSCOs brief the board and C-suite with clarity and confidence.
